Tree Surgery

Crown lift

Removal of the lower branches from the crown will free up space underneath the canopy. This may be done to avoid encroachment onto buildings or boundaries, also to clear highways and public footpaths.

Crown reduction

A tree may outgrow its surroundings/ space. Reducing a tree back to growth points further down branches will reduce its size, this in turn avoiding a full removal.

Crown thin

The removal of branches within the crown will allow more light to pass through the canopy and also reduce its wind sail, whilst maintaining the original shape of the tree.

Pruning

Cleaning of the crown from dead wood and selected branches can improve the overall health of a tree and reduce the risk of damage from falling branches.

Tree removal / dismantle

Some trees structural integrity may deteriorate and be compromised for various reasons. Although felling and dismantling is something we like to discourage, sometimes it is the best and most necessary outcome.

Stump removal

With the use of specialist equipment, stumps and the majority of the roots can be cleared.
